Farm Work 20 minutes south of Byron Bay on the coast. Hourly rate paid. 

We are a family owned business that specialises in macadamia orchard development on the NSW floodplains, and is currently undertaking a 200 hectare (80,000 tree) development South of Ballina.

An exciting opportunity is available to join our team as general farm hands to assist with the upcoming planting of 10,000 macadamia trees. We are looking for 6 seasonal workers to assist for an estimated 8 to 12 week period (pending the weather). 

The position is field based, physical work with a moderate level of machinery operation and will be subject to the weather. 

The right candidate for this position will be proactive, flexible and happy to tackle a wide range of tasks and challenges and have a can-do attitude. He / She will be able to work effectively, considerately and cooperatively with other team members as well as independently. You will have a proven track record of working in a safe, responsible and efficient manner.  

The role will be a casual based position with work required to be undertaken during week days, and on occasion over weekends. 

Desired experience and competencies; the following will be viewed favourably

• previous farm work experience 
• own vehicle/transport 
• ability to work in a team
• able to understand and follow instructions
• enjoy working outside  
• strong English
• couples preferred
