Macadamia growers are invited to the Gridfarm Grower Day at Summerland House Farm on 6 August.

 Janus Erasmus and Paul Weir will unveil the findings from the Gridfarm soil test mapping (conducted over the last 2 years) and explain the importance of irrigating macadamias in the Northern Rivers. Paul will also demonstrate his Best Spread variable rate fertilizer and lime spreader (which has been spreading the maps the last 2 years).

 Also being demo’d on the day are the new variable rate three-point linkage spreader (the first in Australia), soil moisture probes and the revolutionary Floppy overhead sprinklers.
