The Australian macadamia industry has achieved a huge amount in its relatively short 45-year history. Having risen to become global leaders in the production and marketing of macadamias, we have also come to be regarded as pioneers in horticulture more broadly, thanks to the breakthroughs our industry has made in growing, post-harvest handling, technology, food safety and marketing.
The 2019 Yearbook provides an overview of all key facets of the Australian macadamia industry, including essential statistics, productivity and sustainability improvements, growing information, industry value, global production and consumption updates, domestic and international sales, health, consumer insights and promotion. It’s the go-to snapshot of our industry’s performance over the past 12 months.
