Thank you for your interest in the highly regarded Masterclass in Macadamia Management. This practical, in-person program is based in Bundaberg and is designed to build your knowledge and confidence across all aspects of macadamia management.

The program runs over 12 months, with six face-to-face workshops delivered in two-day workshops between October 2026 and May 2027. Sessions are generally held on a Monday and Tuesday, allowing travel on the Sunday, although there may be a few exceptions. Each workshop focuses on key areas of orchard management, from soils and nutrition through to canopy, water, pests, diseases, and harvest, while also working through the broader decisions that underpin a well-run orchard.

As part of the program, participants will also take part in a three-day South Australia study tour in mid-August 2027, providing the opportunity to see different production systems and learn from other industries.

The course fee is $3,500 including GST for AMS members, or $3,950 including GST for non-members, payable by 1 October 2026. Return flights to Adelaide for the study tour are payable by participants, with all other travel costs for the tour included.
