Macadamia Farm Management is looking for Irrigation Assistants to support our growing macadamia orchards in the Bundaberg and Childers regions. 🌱 With our expanding operations, we’re offering multiple opportunities in our irrigation team, starting as casual roles (full-time hours) with the potential to go permanent.

About the Role:

• Assist in programming automated irrigation systems and monitor water levels with soil moisture probes and manual checks
• Apply fertiliser through fertigation systems and record irrigation schedules
• Perform hands-on tasks like repairing valves, sprinklers, digging trenches, and replacing poly pipes
• Take on more complex irrigation projects as your experience grows

We’re Looking For Someone Who:✅ Has experience in farming and a passion for learning irrigation

✅ Is physically fit and ready for outdoor labour

✅ Is tech-savvy and comfortable with mobile apps

✅ Has permanent work rights in Australia

Requirements:

• Farming experience with a focus on irrigation, or a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to read and execute irrigation schedules after training
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
