Kalm the Farm is a family-owned macadamia farm dedicated to producing high-quality macadamia nuts. Our farm encompasses 50 acres of macadamia orchards, located in Numulgi, NSW (40 min drive from Byron Bay).

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Macadamia Farm Hand. As a Farm Hand, you will play a vital role in various aspects of macadamia farming operations, including mowing, harvesting, and general farm maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about agriculture and eager to contribute to the growth of our farm.

Duties involve but are not limited to:

-          Operating farm machinery (tractor, harvester, mower)

-          Planting and pruning

-          General orchard maintenance

-          Support the harvesting process, including the operation of machinery and equipment, sorting, and packaging of macadamia nuts.

 Job Type: Casual 2-3 a week (with the option to convert to permanent part-time or full-time for the right person)

Requirements:

• Prior experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic knowledge of farm machinery and equipment is desirable.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• A genuine interest in macadamia farming and sustainability practices.
