Norco Rural Lismore invite you to a 'Macadamia Field Day'.

GUEST SPEAKERS ON THE DAY:

• Gary Ross host of the day - will discuss orchard management, canopy management, drainage work and nutrition
• Scott Langton from Eco Growth Fertilisers - will discuss increasing Macadamia nut yield and orchard longevity by addressing nutrition simply and holistically
• Matthew Moyle from Nufarm - will discuss drift management strategies using low drift air induction nozzles, and the correct adjuvant.
• Jason Gadsden from Nutrifert Australia - will discuss new options for managing low pH
• soils, sodic soils, and low soil calcium levels with Ozcal granular lime, Ozgyp granular gypsum and  OzcalMag granular dolomite.
• Stephen Hegarty from V Net Precision farming - will discuss easy and low cost options to adopt precision farming practices in your macadamia orchard.

DEMONSTRATION ON THE DAY

• Shaun Stead from Tuffass Machinery - With both Orchard sprayer and bulk spreader
• Tony Bennet from Agrichem - with product information and advice on application rates

BBQ Lunch will be provided between 12.00 and 12.30pm while watching the machinery demonstrations.
