Macadamia Production Course (June-Aug)

MPC is again running the popular Macadamia Production Course in conjunction with Alan Coates.

The course will cover all aspects of macadamia production – from selecting a site and planting it out, through to managing older orchards.

The course will run over six full-day sessions and will be a blend of theory and practical (including field visits) that cover most aspects of macadamia production – harvesting, dehusking, flowering and nutset, early nut development and major orchard works such as soil profiling and pruning.

The course will run from 25 June 2019 - 21 August 2019, with classes commencing at 8:30am and finishing at 4pm.

Cost is $250 (incl. GST) per person, which includes lunches and transport to and from farms in the afternoon. Places are limited to 25 people per course.

To register, contact Jodie at MPC reception via phone 02 6624 3900 or [email protected]. If there is sufficient demand, a second course will be arranged.

This course is offered to all growers in the industry, not just MPC suppliers.
