Alstonville Steel specialises in designing and manufacturing a range of processing and drying equipment for the macadamia, pecan, walnut and cashew farming industries. We back our products with a regular service and maintenance programme from team members with high levels of trade experience.
"Alstonville Steel was established over 30 years ago and current owner and Managing Director, Steve Kennedy, joined the company in 1990, becoming a partner in 2003 then sole Owner/Director of the company in 2007. The company was initially focussed on structural steel manufacturing, but with the vast growth of macadamia producers in the area and beyond, a close association with the macadamia industry has developed.
The company now designs and builds a range of processing and drying equipment not only for macadamias, but also pecans, walnuts and cashews. Alstonville Steel's equipment manufacturing process also includes shed layout design for efficient processing. We have a maintenance/service programme available for smaller farms just starting out through to some of the largest processors throughout Australia. The company has been involved in the development of processing sheds globally, with our products exported to markets including China, Thailand, New Zealand and Hawaii."
