The Australian Nut and Dried Fruit Seminar took place at the Australian Pavilion, Osaka Expo 2025, on Thursday 12 June.

The Australian macadamia industry was proudly represented by grower and MacField Farms Pty Ltd MD, Henrik Christiansen, who spoke about the benefits of Australian macadamias, and Andrew Waring, Sales Director at MWT, who joined an informative panel Q&A. He was joined by the Presidents of leading Japanese importers, Toyo Nuts and Shoei Foods.

The event, an Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) initiative, aimed to raise awareness of Australian nuts and dried fruits and grow their use as premium ingredients in Japanese food manufacturing.
