The macadamia benchmarking team has commenced data collection for the 2021 season.

Benchmarking allows you to confidentially compare yield, quality and optionally costs for your farm with other farms of a similar size, tree age and growing locality. The benchmark sample represents nearly 60% of industry production and spans all major growing regions.
The benchmarking team will shortly be contacting last year’s participants to invite them to participate again this season. Other growers who may be interested in participating are also very welcome, simply contact the team via the methods shown below or download, save and complete the 2021 data collection form here.
In most cases, with your consent, the benchmarking team collect your yield and quality information from your nominated processor(s), although you can also provide the data directly if you prefer. The team aims to have all data collected by the end of December so that personalised, confidential farm benchmark reports can be delivered to all participating growers by the end of February.
Benchmarking is a free and confidential service for Australian macadamia growers. The project is funded through Hort Innovation using the macadamia research and development levy and contributions from the Australian Government. The Queensland Government has also co-funded the project through the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
