Last week, Grower Liaison Officers from every Australian macadamia growing region gathered in the Northern Rivers for the AMS/GLO Mid-Year Catch-Up.

Over three days, the group shared regional insights, discussed seasonal conditions and production challenges, heard updates on key industry projects, and visited local orchards and processing facilities to see innovation and best practice in action.

From benchmarking and disease management updates to practical orchard discussions, the event provided a valuable opportunity for GLOs from across the country to learn from one another, strengthen connections across regions, and exchange practical insights that can be taken back to growers in their local areas. Sharing knowledge and experiences across production regions helps ensure growers benefit from the latest ideas, solutions and industry developments.
